ParticipantHi,
I have a cmap template and want to add a “Print Listing” or “Download Listing” button on each listing so that my client can print a listing as needed. I’ve looked for any connections short codes for this and researched the forums without success.
I like the look and feel of my current listing and simply (perhaps adding the print option to the “More notes” button) want to add the option to print. What should I do to achieve this?
Thanks

There’s a add to address book link that you can add which downloads a vCard. It can be enabled in the settings.
There is not print option other than using the browser print. Others have reported success using the Print-O-Matic plugin.
Hope that answers your question.

ParticipantHi Steven,
I’m confused.
I enabled vCard downloads in settings. In my wordpress dashboard when I select Connections – Manage and then select “view” for a listing, I am taken to a page of my website template containing the listing information and the vCard link is there (see image 1). However, when I go to the website page I generated containing the connections short code (see image 2) for my directory cmap template the vCard link does not appear. Why is this? And how can I get the vCard link on my cmap listings? Or how do I link them?
I have not tried the Print-O-Matic shortcode yet. But I am assuming that it would be placed on the page containing the connections short code to get the print icon to display.
Thanks

re: img 1
That is the single entry detail/profile view.
re: img 2
This is the result list view, to get to the single entry detail/profile view where the vCard down link resides, click the entry name.
In short, the vCard download link only reside on the on profile page, not the list page.

Forgot…
Print-O-Matic, can’t really give you any advice on since I have never used it myself.

ParticipantSteven,
Can you change the “Add to Address Book” to “Download Listing”?
Thanks,

See this FAQ. Foloowing the instructions in this FAQ will allow you to change just about any text and label in Connections including the “Add to Address Book” string.
Hope that helps!
