ParticipantI’ve been having a problem with Connections for a while but it’s now impossible to use. It used to be that I couldn’t add biographical info when I created a new entry, but I could go back into that entry and add it later as an edit.
Now I cannot add biographical info at all. When I first create an entry I can scroll down and see the Biographical Info field and its tabs, Visual and Text. I cannot type anything into the field as it is (under Visual), and if I click on Text then the field disappears entirely. Then even if I click on Visual again, nothing happens.
There’s a similar problem with Notes, but it’s a bit different. It defaults to Visual and I can’t type anything in the field, but if I click on Text then I can. Clicking back on Visual doesn’t change anything.
I’m beyond frustrated right now as I have to add 60 entries for our participants and it’s just not working correctly.
I’m running the latest Connections, 8.5.11, on WordPress 4.4.2 Any help would be so appreciated!

Sorry, to hear that you’re having trouble. The issue is very likely actually being caused by another plugin or maybe even then theme not limiting its javascript to its own admin page. Either way we’ll have to debug to see whether it is being caused by another plugin or the theme.
First, follow this FAQ to eliminate a plugin conflict.
If you go thru that process, next see if the theme is the cause.
If you determine by following the advice in the those two FAQs that is not being caused by another plugin or theme, then I’ll need a temp admin account so I can login and take a look.
