    I’ve tried everything I can locate that might help including reinstallation of the plugin. NOTHING seems to help. When you click on a name in the directory listing, it goes either to a browser 404 or to a page in the WordPress site that says ”
    Oops! That page can’t be found. It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?”

    The generated link looks like this:
    http://xxxxx.com/index.php/directory/name/fname-lname/

    Please email for login credentials so that you can see it “live”.

    The issue is with your permalink structure. Go to the WordPress Permalinks settings admin page and remove the index.php from your permalinks. Connection is not compatible with that. As a buson, that improves the SEO of your site.

    That did it !!! Working just fine. So simple when you know what to do.
