ParticipantG’day,
Very happy with your plug-ins, but I am getting error: An error occurred while updating Connections CSV Import: Update package not available.
I am getting similar errors for Connections cMap and Connections SiteShot. I am using Connections 8.5 and the current version of WordPress.
At the same time, when someone submits a new entry via the front of site Connections Form, I can see the entry on its own, I get a notifying email, but approving it does show it on the website, nor does it appear in lists in the admin area. I have set the entry to “Public” before you ask!
I suspect all of these issues are related.

Hmmm… I just tested this the upgrading and it worked fine. Can you update other plugins without an errors?
re: approving it does show it on the website, nor does it appear in lists in the admin area.
Honestly hard to know what the issue could be from the description. Could I get a temp WP admin login so I can take a look?

re: I am getting error: An error occurred while updating Connections CSV Import: Update package not available.
The is because the support licenses for these have expired. There should be something that displays on the Plugins admin page indicating this, but there is not. I’ll have to look into that.
You can renew them by going to the Connections : Settings admin page and clicking the Licenses tab. Click one of the renew links. You do not have to renew each of them individually… once on the shopping cart page, you can add the other items to be renewed.

I’ve logged in… can you give me an example of an entry that shows on the site’s frontend but not in the admin?

GuestIt was a licensing issue. As soon as I updated the licenses all the issues went away.
I didn’t realise the licenses had expired, as there was no notification. Just the message “An error occurred while updating Connections CSV Import: Update package not available.”
And I didn’t hit the license tab as I had no idea the issue would lie there.
Ah well, thanks for looking and solving my problem.

re: I didn’t realise the licenses had expired, as there was no notification.
There should have been an email in the beginning of April… perhaps it ended upon in a spam/junk folder. My email logs only go back a rolling 90 days so I can’t verify if one was sent or not. Sorry.
re: Just the message “An error occurred while updating Connections CSV Import: Update package not available.”
Yeah… I message should show right next to the update link… I’ll have to figure out why it is not.
Apologies for the trouble!
