ParticipantI have set up a user as a Subscriber. The Subscriber has two Roles – Add Entry and Edit Entry. I have created an entry for this user. I have a member page which uses the Connections Login extension. I am using the shortcode [connections_form]. However, from what I understand [connections_form] is for new entries only. I have gone through the steps where I have the Subscriber user login and click Edit My Directory Entry to create a link to the entry but I still end up with only the empty form. I need a front end form for the users which keeps them out of going to a WordPress login. Could you show me the steps and shortcodes I need to accomplish this.

First, I would recommend not using the
[connections_form]shortcode, it is deprecated and no longer supported. With Both Link and Form activated…
Go to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Display tab.
Scroll to the Result List Actions section.
Enable the When this option is enabled a “View My Directory Entry” or “Add My Directory Entry” link will be displayed. option.
Disable the When this option is enabled a “Submit New Entry” link will be displayed. When a user clicks this link they will be taken to a page where they can submit their entry to the directory. option.
Scroll down to the Entry Actions section.
Enable the When this option is enabled a “Edit Entry” link will be displayed. When a user clicks this link they will be taken to a page where they can edit entry. option.
Now…
The entry you added for the user, check to make sure it has an email address and that it matches exactly the email address of the user.
Logout.
Lastly login as that user. The entry and the user account should now be linked.
If it is not, please let me know.
