ParticipantHey Steven,
A typical listings page on my site and i’m wondering if I can still keep it in alphabetical order, but choose which business is listed at the top? I’ve played around with your order_by page but couldnt get it to work.
Possible?
Thanks.

ParticipantA followup question, assuming my initial Q is possible. I’m also wanting to make the top listing stand out a bit, do you have any suggestions as how this could be done/if possible.
A colour change?

You could try this.
re: I’m also wanting to make the top listing stand out a bit, do you have any suggestions as how this could be done/if possible.
You could create a “Featured” category and assign your desired entries to the “Featured” category. The you could use CSS to have a “special” background color for those that are “featured” like so:
#cn-cmap .featured .cn-entry { background-color: red !important; }Hope that helps!

ParticipantI may use the suggestion that was given at that link some other time. Thanks for that.
What i’ve done is simply add ** to the title, probably not ideal but fine for me for now so now its at the top.
However, I would need to change the colour css code, is their a solution for that as I havent done the featured entry method.
Thanks Steven.

ParticipantI added id=181 background_color=”#CAE1FF” which works but then it only shows that ID on the page, and none of the other business’s. Is there something else I can add to this so they all show up but with the first one in color?
Thanks. I’ll keep fiddling with options.

ParticipantBrilliant! I see that I needed to create a featured category (I wasnt aware of this), which I did, then added the code you gave and its working. Lovely, thanks for your awesome support as always.

Yes, you needed to create the “Featured” category. Apologies if I was clear on that point of the instruction.
If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
