GuestHello
we are an alumni community of the University of Warwick and we are setting up our website using WordPress. We also want to support member profiles with these requirements:
- Members shall easily register their details and edit them at a later stage
- Admins shall receive messages when a member signs up
- Members shall have to use a riddle to sign up
- It shall be possible to adjust the registration form to our needs, allowing members to provide details with check options, radio buttons etc.
We have so far been quite disappointment from other solutions as they do not work with our template and/or cannot use existing user sign-up plugins. So my questions are:
- Can Connections do all that? :-) I guess it can.
- IS there a possibility to try the plugins how they work together and with our template before buying?
Thanks a lot
Dimitris

re; requirements
- Connections does not handle WP user registrations. I suggest using a third party plugin to handle that.
- If you use Link and Form to allow users to add their entry and those users are given the add entry moderated capability, the admin will receive a submission notice. The entry will remain in the moderation queue until the admin approves it.
- This would be something the registration plugin would do.
- Form is a plugin and play form, not a form builder. Pretty much what you see is what you get. Fieldsets can be removed and / or rearranged that’s about it. Fieldsets are metaboxes that groups the fields for address, phone or email. See the demo … I hope that makes it clear.
I do not have anyway to proved a tryout, sorry. I hope that answers your questions thoroughly!
