ParticipantAdmittedly I am a novice at this plugin and I know this should be simple but I can’t seem to key this behavior in Excerpt Plus:
Connections has a feature that can be enabled that changes the entry name to a link, this link will take you to a page with just that entry. Excerpt Plus is smart enough to know if you have that feature enabled, which is on by default in Connections 0.7.6 and newer. If you have this feature enabled, the fade-in effect the reveals the rest of the entry’s bio is removed and replaced with a link to that entry. When you click thru to that entry, the entire bio is shown, there’s no need for your visitor to click again to reveal all the full bio.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I set name linking to on by checking the box on the Advanced section.
To recap, when I click on the name I want the rest of the information to be displayed as a full entry, not the fading effect.

Oops, small bug. My apologies! Here’s how to fix… go to the page where you added the
[connections]shortcode and edit it. Add thelinkshortcode option and set it totrue. Here’s an what the shortcode should look like:
[connections link='true']Again, my apologies!

ParticipantThank you – that works!
Another small issue, though, not with this template but with Slim. I’ll post in that forum.
Thank you for your quick response.
