ParticipantLast night I upgraded my WordPress theme to the latest version (Avada 3.5). Today, I noticed my Connection Directory is broken. The page loads fine and the Connections template I’m using (Tile Plus 3.1) appear to work. That is, I can see the template on the page and I can even see employee images within the template (as they should be), but all the text is missing. Please see the attached screen shot…

The root of the issue is that the theme likely change the CSS box model from the browser default globally. If you update to Tile Plus 4.0.2, that should resolve the issue. You can download it from your purchase history.
Hope that helps.

ParticipantHey Steven,
You were exactly right! Upgrading the template fixed the problem. Thank you very much for the help. I do have one question though. How come WordPress didn’t alert me to the fact that a newer version of the template was available? I receive notifications when newer versions of Connections is available. I assumed I would receive notifications about the templates as well.

Great to hear!
re: How come WordPress didn’t alert me to the fact that a newer version of the template was available?
Because third party plugins not hosted on wordpress.org such as the extensions and templates for Connections require developers create their own “update server”. It just so happens that one of the major new features added to Tile Plus 4.0.2 is in-admin update support. If you enter your support license key on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Licenses tab, you’ll be notified of updates and be able to install the updates right in the admin for as long as the support license key is active. You can get you support license key from your purchase history too.Hope that answers your question thoroughly.
If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
