ParticipantIf I’m logged into the Admin section and want to manage the entries in my Connections directory, the links are there and will take me to “Manage,” “Add Entry,” “Categories,” etc. They generally look like this:
http://pickusottawail.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connections_add
When I am logged in as a Manager role that I created, the links look like this:
http://pickusottawail.com/wp-admin/connections_add
I am then taken to a 404 page.
The other plugins work and I’m taken to their respective editing sections on my site. I’ve tried turning off permalinks and turning them back on. I am using iThemes Security, but since other plugins are fine, I don’t know if that is part of the issue or not.

That’s odd, because WordPress creates the link. A plugin only registers the menu items. There’s nothing special to Connections in that regard. So this is quite odd.
Maybe it’s the custom user role that is at fault. Can you try creating a temp user account with one of the core WordPress roles? Try either the Author or Editor role.
If those roles also have the same issue, then just maybe it is somehow conflicting with iThemes Security. There’s one way to text that, deactivate it for a few minutes and see if the issue persists. I don’t think it is though. I have it installed on my text site but I only have a few features enabled.

ParticipantThank you, Steven! It had to do with the custom role that I created. I used Advanced Access Manager to create the role. I disabled the plugin, re-enabled, and reset the permissions.
Sometimes, it takes another person to try something else in the troubleshooting process.
Thank you again!

Great to hear it was that simple!
If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
