GuestHi recently installed the plugin and a couple of extensions that I bought. Some problems/questions:
1. content in the notes field is not displaying on the website, doesn’t show on the directory overview page nor when clicking to view an individual entry page
2. how do we edit the last updated colour? tried changing the red to black in the theme files but it didn’t seem to work, maybe I updated the wrong place can you point me in the right direction? thanks.

Sincerest apologies! I seemed to have overlooked replying to you.
1. Which template are you using? Most templates by default do not show the notes fields. The free core templates, none of those show the notes field.
2. You can use the following CSS to override the color:
#test-00-test-2 span.cn-last-updated { color: black !important; }I hope that helps!

GuestWe have custom CSS on our website and use that to style how the plugin looks. So do we need to purchase a template in order to get the notes field to show?
Thanks for that code, will we lose this update when the plugin is updated?

Lose the CSS when you update? That really depends on where you added the custom CSS. If you added to the Connections CSS files, then yes. If you added it to the theme’s styles.css file, maybe, when you update the theme. If the theme has an area to add custom CSS, then, very likely no.
You could edit the template you are using to add the notes fields, but you would lose that edit when you update so you would have to reapply the update each time there is an update. Now, with that said … the next release has had the core templates updated in a way that if you move it to the
/plugins/folder and make the change, you will not lose any edit when there is a plugin update.Hope that helps!

GuestThanks – re: notes field, can this be added to our own css/template without using one of your templates? To clarify, I don’t mind buying a template to “unlock” this feature if that’s required. But we have the plugin in place, purchased some of the upgrades for it and are happy with everything we have, just need the notes field to appear. If there is the flexibility to just add pulling this field into our base template files/css that would be great. I don’t want to install a new template that will throw what we have now out of place and require lots of fixes.

Yes, you can add the notes field to your own template. Add the following line to your template:
$entry->getNotesBlock();Hope that helps!
