Allan fine
ParticipantI still can’t figure out How to create a login button or interface on the website for people to be able to either add their own or edit their own profiles
as well, as I still can’t figure out how to create a category hierarchy interface, where all of the different categories will show an alphabetical order.
And then people can click the category and see all of the list of people who are there and then they can click on the individual people the list and see their actual profile.I have spent so many hours trying to read the documentation, and nothing is very clear, you really need to create videos as the documentation you created is very confusing.
So once again what I want to do, is create a login button, 4 people to create their own profiles and then be able to edit them, as well as on the directory page http://cibn.ca/directory/, be able to create a hierarchy list of all the different business types and then clicking on the individual business types drill down to the sub business types, and then from there be able to click on the individuals in the company who fall under that sub business type.
I sure hope this is very clear, because I am very confused. I once again have probably spent at least 10 hours trying to research this and nothing make sense at all., I have purchased C-map and list_type as per your email and still after 10 hours of researching this , Can’t Figure this thing out.
I do Internet marketing and WordPress sites and have been for 10 years now.Once again, videos would be very helpful.

Keymaster@ Allen
I just replied to your email, here’s a copy of the reply in case it is not received and There are a couple other questions you asked here that I’ll address too…
Connections has no login form. This is intentional. Many themes already provide custom login solutions and for the ones that don’t. I recommend using one of the many plugins that are available in which that it is there main focus and feature set. Try this plugin, it looks nice:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/tabbed-login/As I mentioned, there is no output for user selection of the categories. That is where the templates come in. Several templates offer a searchable category drop down. By putting the categories in this searchable drop down you save your visitor many clicks by not forcing them to “drill down”. It also saves a lot of space so the initial results are shown “above the fold”. More info: Ok I see you said you have cMap. You installed it and activated it on the plugins page and on the Connections : Templates admin page, correct? That’ll give you the user selectable categories, but not as a list. It’ll be the searchable drop down I mentioned.
I admit I need to put up a little more documentation on the widgets but you are on the correct admin page (shown by your screen capture). Drag the Connections : Categories widget over to on of the theme’ side bar location. I can not be more specific than that, sorry. The screen capture does not show what sidebar locations the theme supports.
