ParticipantHi there,
Please see attached screenshot.
I have successfully updated Connections to ver 0.7.9.2 but am still getting an update notice?
No problems other than showing when it shouldn’t but interested if you know anything?
Regards,
Ray

Haven’t seen that before … Visit the WordPress Updates admin page and then go back to the Plugins admin page and see if the notice is still there.

GuestHi Steve,
Tried what you suggested but no change. I have logged out and in a number of times but still the same.
It does not seem to be causing any problems, just strange to see the yellow update box under the Connections plugin entry on the plugin page displaying when there is no update available.
I would send you a screenshot but doesn’t look like I can add an attachment to the forum post.
Regards,
Ray

You did attach a screenshot in your initial post; you need to be logged in to do so.
This is definitely strange… This is only displayed of a WordPress transient ,something it manages, not Connections, contains the update message. Since this transient contains the message it is being displayed.
I was pretty certain just visiting the Updates page, the one under the Dashboard not the Plugins, reset that transient. Regardless though, the message should disappear on its own the next time WordPress checks for updates.
Let me know if it doesn’t. Thanks!

ParticipantHi Steve,
Thanks for your response.
I have just re-checked for ‘updates’ via the WP Updates Page using the ‘Check Again’ button. But the message still remains.
As Connections appears to be working as it should I will just leave things and see if it corrects itself over time. I will let you know if that happens just for your interest.
Regards,
Ray
