ParticipantHi Steven,
A couple of weeks back you gave me the custom code to make “BIO” field required. This was done to help stop “early submissions” when filling out the connection form.
Refer to Post Link: http://connections-pro.com/support/topic/new-field-required-box-helping-to-stop-early-submissions/#post-268828
I updated to Connections 0.7.9 this morning and did a test. Everything great so far with all other aspects of the program. But that custom code doesn’t work at present. The form will allow me to submit a listing with an empty BIO field (which I have labeled DESCRIPTION).
Two examples here :

Bet there is an easy fix.
Cheers,
JD

That code would be unaffected by the update. With the exception of sending the form input to Connections to be inserted they are completely separate plugins. The form output and validation all occur within Form. I guess just double check the code you inserted to make sure it did not somehow get reverted.
I just did a quick test or two on your site and the required only seems to work when the Text tab is activate, not the visual. I think you’ll have to implement the first option rather than the second from my original post.

ParticipantThanks ! I thought the same that my premimum bought FORM shouldn’t be affected.
I will try the first recommendation in coding.
…. YES ! Tested. It works great. Thank you.
Cheers, JD
