GuestI have searched for this but did not an answer. I have my directory, sorting alpha, a – z letters accross the top, department is to display as a link in settings. The a – z links work, and department is displayed as a link, but it just seems to reload the page, it does not filter only the people in that department. Am I missing something?
Thanks.

I think that is a bug with 0.7.8.1. Version 0.7.9 which will be released soon does have this fixed. Would you like an advanced copy?

Sorry for the delay. I needed to ready the plugin package. Here’s the link.
To install, deactivate and delete the current version. This is safe to do. Go to the add new plugin admin page and select the upload submenu. Choose the zip file you downloaded from the link and click install. Finally, activate.
Let me know how it goes.

GuestUpdated was easy! Department link now filtering, a-z links along top now only include letters with content (not a bad thing). All of my content and short codes remained, however on the manage page of the dashboard, the pictures display as broken with the spinning wheel. This is true of old and new entries. This does not impact the page view on the site. This was observed in WP 3.5.1 and then in 3.6.1. Again thank you for a great plugin. I was thinking the Siteshot extension could be used to make a links page (we like thumbnails instead of text links). I think I am going to try that.

Could I get temp admin access? I would like to see what the error is that is preventing the images from showing in the admin.

GuestUnfortunately it is hosted on a local server, using it as an employee intranet site. I can ftp the whole thing to you if you like, or send you anything that would be helpful. Please email me for more detail.

Unfortunately that will not help. The issue is almost certainly due to the DOCUMENT_ROOT not being properly determined.
Add the following to the timthumb-config.php file found here:
../wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/libraries/timthumb/This is what you need to add, make sure to change the doc root accordingly:
define ('LOCAL_FILE_BASE_DIRECTORY','/my/doc/root/');What
'/my/doc/root'will be, will depend entirely on the server setup. If you go to the the Connections : Dashboard admin page and look at the the System widget; there will be a constant named CN_PATH. The doc root should be the beginning portion of that path. What I can tell you is that from thewp-contenton will NOT be part of the doc root.Hope that helps!

Great to hear!
Keep a backup of that file because, unfortunately it’ll be deleted during plugin updates. I haven’t figured out a way around that yet because that scrip runs without needing to load WP. Less server resources required that way.
Have you left a review? If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate one as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
