GuestHello,
I wanted to ensure my new directory would be mapped, but for some reason it it only maps the main directory page (i.e. http://dogsized.com/directory/).Shouldn’t the XML sitemap also map each entry? e.g. http://dogsized.com/directory/name/andrea-arden-dog-training/
Is there some sort of no follow turned on that I should turn off? I would like each entry to be on the XML sitemap and also crawled by the search engines.
See my sitemap: http://dogsized.com/page-sitemap.xml
Greatly appreciate your help!

I’m not certain that putting every direct link to an entry in the sitemap would be the right solution. What if a directory has 30-40 thousand entries? There are users out there with that many … Honestly, I have to do more research to know for certain.
Make sure you have the name linking feature on, same for the view all list action link and I think you’ll be fine.

GuestHello,
Ideally I would LOVE to have a direct link to an entry in the sitemap.
If that generated 30-40 thousand entries/pages, that would be fine with me.Appreciate the help.

If it proper SEO for the sitemap, that’ll be what I do. I’ve been trying to incorporate the advice Google gives for SEO rather than what the “experts” give as guidance. I only use quotes because there’s a lot of conflicting advice out there so it’s easier to just do as Google advices. I will of course be continually improving SEO like I do every other aspect of the plugin. I hope that helps.
