ParticipantHi Steven,
Using your plugin on another site :-).
I’ve been able to get everything setup and working except making a link between existing directory listings and new site users (with proper emails). I’ve reviewed all the prior comments and double checked all my settings.
Would you have time to take a look?

This is not a “live” site so making changes is fine. I can send you login info. What email should I sent to?
Thanks

Participantodd?! well thanks for taking a look.
I’ve done a little experimenting, and it seems that if you follow the sequence above everything works fine. if you end up needing to change user login information (i.e. delete and recreate a username), then the link to the Directory Listing appears to break.
I think that’s what happened with this last issue. Once I deleted, then re-entered a directory listing, I was able to add a new user profile and login successfully. Does this make any sense?
Thanks for your help

Yes, deleting a user ID will break the link … the email linking is only done to attempt to create a link. The link is based on the user ID. When a link is established it is persistent based on the user ID to prevent high jacking an entry.
