    Hi Steve,

    I’m using cMap category dropdown search and Category Widget for the site.  The problem that I have is if I select the root parent category link from Category Widget, the result page would pre-selected the category in dropdown menu.  However it only works for “root parent category”.  If I click the child category link from Category Widget, “Select category” is listed from dropdown menu.  Please advise.

    So I understand correctly…

    You have the drop down limit to select root parent categories.
    The child link that you are clicking on the Category Widget, is that a child of one of the root parent categories or a child of another category?

    Hi Steven,

    I have attached the screenshot and comments. Hope it is helpful.

    I have 2 problems.

    1) “Select category” is listed from dropdown menu, when I click the child category link from Category Widget.

    2) filterable category search is not working when I select another category.

    Ok, I found and fixed a couple bugs in the templating system in Connections and a small bug in cMap. I’m going to try and get updates to both pushed out over this weekend.

    Thank you, I have downloaded the latest version this morning. It fixed issue #1, but not #2.

    Sorry, yes, you also need to update cMap. It is a fee update and can be downloaded via your Purchase History. To update, deactivate cMap, delete and install the new version.
