ParticipantHi,
I just purchase the template the add-on and have some questions about it. If you could help me:
1) id
We have the id that need to insert to database, if we could map our id ? I’m able to update php file and database, if you could provide some guide.
2) custom fields
I know you don’t have this feature yet, and you suggest other user to use wp_cpnnections_meta. Could we use csv to import the data? Or if we could use some non-use fields, e.g. family name. Since we need to add “gender” field.
3) CSV import screen
After I import the data, there is “options” check box, what is it? Also there is “Show Details” link, however it is not working.
Sorry for the long email. Hope you could answer my question.
Thanks,
G

1) I’m not sure what you’re asking. Map what id?
2) The connections_meta table is not used at all at the moment. So importing to it and displaying data from it, you would have to add all the necessary code. It is likely better to map to an unneeded field.
3) I just confirmed, the link does not seem to be working. I’m not sure when or how that broke, no else has reported it. I’ll have to look into it. This however, will not affect the import.

GuestSteve,
Thanks for your feedback.
1) If I could insert my own id to wp_connections table.
3) Beside the link, what is “options” check box for? what happen if I uncheck it.
Thanks,
Gizmo

1) Sorry, no. The entry ID is auto incremented by the database.
3) Sorry, I missed answering that question … Unchecking the checkbox will tells the import not to import that entry.
