If you had a loading spinner before updating … that tells me you must have had a much older version installed because that has not been used in quite awhile. At any rate it is likely the same issue that is causing the image loading issue for both versions. What that issue is exactly, I couldn’t tell you, I need a link to the page having the issue so I can take a look. Then I might have an idea.

The issue is actually with the way the theme has its buttons styled … believe it or not.

If you add the following CSS to the theme’s custom CSS area, it’ll fix it right up.

The latest version of CSV Import does support a pseudo update. If you add an Entry ID column to your CSV file and populate it with the Entry ID in Connections the data will be updated rather than duplicated.

I say pseudo update because data such as addresses, phone, email and such are deleted and re-imported. Info like the name, bio, notes and visibility are updated. Additionally the category associations and images retain their links to the entry.

So, from what you said, it does sound like the current updating support will meet your needs.

I do not mention it as a feature because it has only limited testing but those that are using it seem fine with it and not have reported any bugs.

Slim and Slim Plus already does show the social media by default. Also, in Connections 8.1.7, you can select Houzz as an option.

What you add social media connections, are they not displayed? What is the exact shortcode you are using? Can you share a link to the page with the issue.

Yes, the CSV IMport will import a file with 36,000 rows. Sorry, no it can not import images via filename or URL at this time. There is not yet a Connections specific CSV export. This is on the short list and should be merged into Connections the first half of this year.

None of the templates that come with core Connections plugin shows the notes. Many of the premium templates available for sale do.

Yes, you would need at least the Link extension and optionally the Form extension.
