I just test the Name label again, and it changes for me. What version of Connections do you have installed? Make sure you have not accidently added a leading or trailing blank space in the original string text.

re: I confirmed both were spelled correctly. I was able to use Say What for other items – see the screen shot, prefix does change to pronoun(s) but remove stays remove.

Capitalization matters, the original string is Remove, not, remove.

Thanks for letting me know. Translations are user supplied. I can make this correction, but which Spanish translation should I apply this to? I have two. Spanish Mexico and Spanish Spain.

I just installed Twenty Seventeen and I was able to use the Customizer to change the theme settings without issue.

My suggestion is to try to increase the memory allocated to PHP. Customizer required quite a bit a memory so perhaps you are exhausting the memory which has been allocated to PHP.

Here’s an excellent blog post which covers several methods. I suggest starting at the top and working your way down the list. The method that will work depends entirely on the web host. Each host is configured differently so one method may not work but another will.

Yeah, that code will not work. Sorry, but implementing something like this is not something I can give instructions for as it would be quite involved. If you are familiar with CSS, there are lots of classes available in the HTML markup for the categories. Perhaps you can use CSS to implement icons.

I just tested again, using the Say What? plugin does work. PLease check the spelling and capitalization or the original string. It must match exactly. Ensure the text domain is connections, what the spelling and capitalization, it too must match exactly.

Using Say What? you can change that label too. I just tested again to confirm.

Only some of the entries, not all? If that is the case, I can not fathom a reason why this would occur.

My only suggestion at this point is to navigate to the Connections : Roles admin page and reset all role capabilities. Let me know if that helps or not.

It seems wp.org is in the middle of a major update. I can only guess this is the cause of the incorrect updated (an old one from Friday) is being pushed as the most current update … it is not, yesterdays is. Even the download link on the Connections wp.org plugins page is downloading an even older version.

I did push out 8.6.1 for the latest update which I believe will fix the issue you all are experiencing but the best I can tell wp.org has not yet acknowledged the new version.
