    @ Jen

Sorry, it has been almost a month, could you provide a link and clarify the problem you’re still having? That’ll help refresh my memory. Thanks!

Ok, it sounds like you have the template installed correctly. But I think you need to do step 4 in the QuickStart. Let me know.

The next update will have additional logic in place to help make sure this does not happen. It will not change the URL, but the proper results will be shown. I’ll have to work on a better fix so even the URL is correct, but that will have to come later.

Actually, you’re still running an old version of cMap. You have 2.0.10, the current is 3.0.1. However, the template is still working fine, if you click on any of the category names, the results are being shown correctly. The actual issue is that absolutely none of the Connections CSS files are being loaded in the page head.

I have never seen this before. This would be caused by the theme not having the wp_head() in the theme’s header.php file. I’ve looked at the page source and there is evidence that this template tag is in the file like it should be, but could you confirm so we can be certain?

Is see that you’re running a pretty much current version of WordPress, so that is not the issue.

I’m afraid you’ll have to deactivate plugin one by one to see if there is a plugin conflict.

    @ Gregg

Take a look at the order_by shortcode option.

    @ Valerie

I’m assuming, without a link to look at, that you have the Connections shortcode on the same page as you have set as the Static Home front page. The Static Front page is a WordPress setting found on the Settings : Reading admin page.

If you have the Connection shortcode on this page and the Directory Home page set to the Static Front page, WordPress will direct all queries to the blog page. Without getting too technical, this is because of a feature built into WordPress called canonical redirect. I am still working on a way to work around this.

The solution is to put the Connections shortcode on any page but the Static Front page and set the Directory home page to that page instead.

I hope that helps clear this up for you.

Can I have a temp admin account so I can take a closer look? Details can be posted here as a private reply. Thanks!

    @ Nikki

Search is enabled in several of the premium templates and there is a search widget in the Widget Pack. Search is not part of any of the supplied templates.

    I hope that helps.

If you could … could you take a moment to submit a review:

    It would be tremendously appreciated.
