Ok, now I’m a bit confused … am I still working with Sherry, the original person who submitted this? Or, did she hand this off? I just need to know so I’m looking at the right web sites. Are we tallking about these sites or another?

I did mention to activate the default template in  my initial reply to you, but I could have made that instruction more clear.

Ok, after you activate the Default Entry Card, the Delete link will show up.

After you click the Delete link, cMap will show up and be available for activation.

Here’s the link to the template installation instructions and how to upgrade, see the yellow tinted box. If you already referred this this, I just revised it to, hopefully, make the instructions a little more clear.

Did you active the Default Entry Card template? If you did, then a Delete link should show up, allowing you to delete the template.

If it doesn’t, that that may mean the template was installed in the Connections plugin folder rather than the connections_templates folder. Delete is not an option when a template is located in that folder.

Can you confirm the folder path that the older version of cMap is installed?

Those templates use the pre-cached images that are created when uploading an image to an entry.

Since Tile Plus has specific image size requirements, the latest version forces by creating the images on the fly.

It just occurred to me … Since you said you made the image adjustments, I think you can “turn off” the forced image size and use the pre-cached images instead. I say “think” because I haven’t tested it, but it should work. Try using this shortcode:

Yes … You need to delete the old version, that’s part of the upgrade instructions. If the old cMap is already active, activate the default template and then delete the old version. After the old version is deleted, the new one will show up.

After you do that, you should be up and running.

I wanted to follow-up on this … I decided to created template based on the design you attached. Actually on closer inspection, it was very close to a template I had planned to make. I should have it up for sale by the end of the week if you interested.

Notice the lack of “twincities” in the URL. The image is there…

However, it is also at:
http://twincities.sites.renterswarehouse.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/30/connection_images/brenton2_original.jpg

See, I added “twincities”.

For security, the image has to be loaded from the URL with “twincities”

So, how do you do that, honestly I don’t know because your setup seems to be unique. Connections uses a standard WordPress functions to determine the URL and WordPress says it is the URL without the “twincites”.
