If you’re using the Connections shortcode on many pages within your site pickup any page for you directory home page. This currently only comes into play if your’re using the Widget Pack which require a directory home page.

Two options.
Add a column and name it, entry_type, and set the value to organization.
OR
Just map the org name to the Organization field with no first and last name mapping and the import will default to the org entry type.
Hope that helps.

You can change the image type like so:
[connections image='photo' tray_image='logo' str_image='No Photo Available']Hope that helps.

I just replied here. Pasted here for reference.
The single entry is display in the single entry view of cMap correctly and the “Add to Address Book.” link is showing. So everything appears to be working fine. If you asking if there is a way to go string to a single entry view, sorry, no. The id option can return one or many entries depending on the values assigned to it in the shortcode.
Hope that helps.

Roles are generally a set of capabilities assigned to a group, not specific users. See this page for more.
I don’t really think you want to give those who register Contributor right as you’ll see in the chart I linked to will give them the capability to edit and delete posts. If you do not want that, you should have them set as the subscriber role.
The capabilities for Connections works the same way as those for WordPress. If a role is assigned a capability, then anyone that is assigned that role can perform that action.
If you want registered users to be able to maintain their own entry in Connections, then you need Link.
I hope that helps.

Ok, the permissions issue is resolved. I had to set the following file to 767.
../wp-content/plugins/connections/cache/index.php
Of course the JavaScript errors in the other plugins are going to prevent the template from functioning, but if you deactivate the same couple plugins again the template should work fine. Let me know.

Yes, I’m literally looking now … but can you switch the template back?
