Ok, the images do not seem to be the issue … does this seem to happen adding entries when logged in verses not being logged in?

Sorry, guess I was not clear … I only want copies of images of entries that failed to be submitted, not the successfully added entries. That is if you were adding images using Form.

In the times that it does fail … are you adding images? If you are , can I get copies?

If all the sites are part of a single WordPress multisite installation, then yes. Connections can be setup to run in single site mode on a multisite install. Basically to will tell Connections to use the same db for all subsites.
Hope that helps!

Not quite yet … it’s a work in progress. I’m still researching how to add this support so it is efficient. The big issue is custom fields could be anything. The latest version of Connections does include a few filters within the search code that can be hooked into to add custom search results. If you added you own custom field … you could hook into these filters, do a custom search and add your results to the search results. Does that help?

Can you please share a link to the page you have Form on? It sounds as if to me WordPress is crashing in the background … generally this is caused by another plugins not functioning properly during ajax requests (this is how Form submits the data).

Sorry, not in the current version. The next update will have this feature. Actually, it’ll have a lot more features. You be able to choose to display the photo or logo or the date in icon design. You’ll also be able to set the size and whether it should be displayed as a square or circle. If you choose to display the photo or logo you’ll even be able to set whether or not a placeholder “box” should be shown and set the text within that placeholder. An example you could say “No Photo”.
As for ETA for this update release, I’m shooting for December.

To update those the process is the same for all. Deactivate, delete and install the new version. The only thing you might need to do after is for Form. The shortcode options is use to have been deprecated. Backwards support was implemented for most of them. If you are using any, I suggest removing the options. The shortcode options are now on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Form tab. Additionally, Form no longer requires a dedicated page, so you could remove it if you want. Even more Form and Link are now integrated. Users that have been link with Link now can edit their entry from the frontend using Form. Check out the installation instructions for Form and Link.

Glad to hear you figure out a solution!
Here are a few links that may help you in the future. They explain how to create custom override template files as well as custom CSS/JS files that will load in addition to the core files automatically if found. Using these methods are update safe and depending on the changes a bit easier to implement than trying to create a whole custom template.
- Custom CSS for the core Connections plugin.
- Custom CSS/JS for the templates.
- Custom template override files.
Can you share a link to your directory page? I’d love to see it.
Also, if you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
