There’s few ways to handle using icons; the popular ones being using a icon font or an image. Either way that would require editing the template which would require some basic PHP knowledge. If you do, here’s a [link to a QuickTip(http://connections-pro.com/2014/06/04/quicktip-custom-template-override-files/) you should review to make sure your edits are update safe.

According to the site activations records it has not been activated at all. I activated it on to the same site as the other items.

You can manage this at anytime by going to your Purchase History. Click the View Licenses link and then click the Manage Site link.

Below the All (69) | Approved (69) | Moderate (0) are filters, make sure they are all set to All… and then click the Filter button. Also, make sure you click either the All or Approved link.

Connections is template driven, so the answer depends on which template you are using. The templates in the Pro Pack, the card.php file is the list/results view and the card-single.php is the single/profile view.

You might find the following QuickTips useful if you plan on altering the templates:

The core template that come with Connections, they use a callback function rather than a separated file. So you would edit the PHP file within the template’s folder. Here’s a link to a relevant QuickTip:

That can be changed with CSS. Add the following to the theme’s custom CSS area or better yet, following the instructions in this QuickTip.

You’re going to have to build yourself a custom template. My suggest is to base it off the Default Entry Card template. Here are a link to a QuickTip that will have instructions on where move it so any change that you make will be update safe. Also you can add your own CSS to get the layout exactly how you want it.

Nope, no one that I am aware of. I would need a temp admin account so I can debug it for you using the Query Monitor plugin. My best guess at this point is that the version of MySQL(?) on the server does not like the new query for ordering categories.

Well, it is possible, but there’s no out of the box settings that can be applied to configure this.

Longer answer…

This site, http://sscit.org/, I was commissioned to alter the way the categories are presented to allow a multi-category search. Basically it is three top level categories being shown with only their children.

The page with Form (it’s locked behind a membership login) on it has a similar modification. The three top level categories each have their own metabox. The one, limit the number of categories a user is permitted to select and when they reach that number, they are unable to select any more.

All this was custom coded for them as extensions to Connections.
