You could use the category shortcode option to set the category inwhich to filter the results by. If you are using a template such as cMap, when a ser chooses a category, that selection will override the category shortcode allow them to filter the list. However, selecting the view all option will not really display only, it’ll show the filtered results set by the shortcode category filter. Hope that is clear and make sense.

I’m sorry, I do not understand. Connections does display ads. Maybe I am not understanding the issue. Could you provide more details?

re: why would it have self deleted?
It’s not possible for Connections to self delete. Itself, nor any of its addons have the ability to remove any plugin. You might have accidently removed it. Any way…
re:Afraid to reinstall w/o checking as I don’t want to lose all my data/ everything I’ve set up. Is that what I need to do, reinstall Connections
I would suggest reinstalling Connections. It does not remove data or its settings upon deleting for this very reason. Put another way, your data and settings should be safe.
Using the host rollback my cause you more trouble depending on what other changes that way made between their last backup.
Hope this helps, let me know.

Check that the server (PHP) and database (MySQL) times are set correctly with the correct timezone. Also ensure the timezone is properly set in WP. Hope that helps, let me know.

Here’s the link to the change:

I suspect the the core WP function I was using was changed which is why a very small handful of users are now experiencing this issue. The two others that I implemented this change on their site, it resolve the issue.
Good luck! Hope it helps!

I have a hotfix I can apply that seems to have fixed the issue with two others who have experienced this issue. If you can send me a temp WP admin login, posted here as a private reply I can do this asap.

KeymasterClosing, this seems to be a duplicate of this support thread.

re: Display all fields (name, address, contact, image, etc.) but the default template only shows some of the fields. How do I display them all?
The Default Entry Card template does show all fields? Did you by chance change the active template to the Profile template? The Profile template shows pretty much just the name, title, photo and bio field.
re: Display entries (or make searchable) by state
To display the entries, follow the instructions in Step 4 of the Quick Start tutorial. Search would require a premium template.
Hope this helps!

re: Not seeing a View Details action link.
Here’s a screenshot. The link is right underneath the entry name on the Connections : Manage admin page.
re: I can’t find her entry
Right here:
https://ebwn.org/member-directory/name/cn-id-0/
This is the
cn-id-0entry the error is referring to, not this entry your were looking at:https://ebwn.org/member-directory/name/dawn-biocca-4/
The Tina K. entry has an image assigned to it which was appears to have been deleted from your web server. When you logged into your site with FTP to verify if the
cn-id-0existed, you said it did not. The only way for this to happen is if the folder was deleted manually or some other method not being managed by Connections. So, to fix the error, upload a new image. Hope this helps!
