Which Builder widget have you placed the
[connections]shortcode in. I just tested placing the shortcode in the Rich Text Editor widget and search had worked fine.05/13/2018 at 12:38 pm in reply to: Is it possible to show notes directly without the link "show notes" #462336Steven Zahm

Sorry, but making the notes visible in the list view will not be added. They will only be shown in the notes content trey as that is how the template is designed and demoed. Most users which to have a more compact list view. The notes are shown in the single entry profile view by default because the page content area is dedicated to that single entry.

Well, if it “clears up” I can’t help but to wonder if it somehow a plugin conflict. Another plugin blocking Connections.
Do you have any security related plugins installed? If so, which one(s)?
Also, please try this:

I took another look. It seems you;’ve got the menu links fixed. Can you drop the category widget back in the sidebar?

RE: Please could you help with this.
I am… have you reviewed your settings as suggested? That is the first step, making sure they are indeed correct.
The widget is not the only issue I see. The entire “Clients” menu is also missing that slash with an extra
all-clientsin the address. Those appear to be custom Menu Links. If they are, you will need to correct those links on the WordPress Menus admin page.In regards to the widget. After the settings have been confirmed, please try adding a category and the deleting it. The widget is cached to keep load times minimal. So, it might be possible the widget was cached while the links were incorrect.
Hope that helps, let me know.

If you have manually set the home or site constants such as WP_HOME or WP_SITEURL in the wp-config file, confirm they are set correctly. If you only configured them in the WP Settings admin page, make sure they are set correctly. I suspect one of them you are missing the trailing slash.
Hope that helps, let me know.

Sorry, but that change can only be done by editing the template’s PHP files.

Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Advanced tab. Scroll to the bottom and enable the Google Maps API. This should only ever be disabled under very specific scenarios.
The reason it is required is because the template you are using requires it. I see it has been modified… if you do not need the maps, you should edit the
cmap.phptemplate file so it no longer requires the Maps API.You will also have to edit the references to it in the template’s JavaScript files.
Hope this helps!

Please edit the directory page. Copy the contents of the Fusion Block and then delete that block.
Add a Fusion Text block and paste in the contents that you copied.
In Fusion, shortcodes should be placed in Text block, not Code blocks.
Hope this helps!
