There’s nothing built in to set notes or parts of notes as private, however, the bio and notes fields do support shortcodes. So, you could try using another plugin such as restrict contact that has a shortcode to keep parts private. I hope that helps.

As mentioned in the other thread. Still works. I did notice the Google Maps API is not loaded. I suggest turning it back on. The setting is on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab.

I can see your directory because it requires a login but I don’t think I need to see it.

I’m assuming you activated the “Names” template under the “All” template type.

It sounds like it is doing exactly what it’s supposed to do, you just need to make one minor configuration change. On the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab, check the Single Entry option and save.

Now on the Connections : Templates admin page, under both the Individual and Organization template types, activate your desired template.

Sorry, but there is not a scheduled import (cron) that can be run. One character per page is on the to do list but will likely be a feature of the premium templates only. I’m about half or more finished. You can see this working on the Connections : Manage admin page where the list can be filtered by character.

The forum is the right place. Sorry if I confused you. I only made the comment because you left a comment on a post and here. Trying to have the conversion across both the comment and this forum post would have been difficult for the both of us to manage.

Any way, did upgrading to Connections 0.7.6.3 resolve this?

I just tested a few sites that have Connections running on it including my text and live sites. I can re-produce this. The only thing I can think of, there was a bug with the “copy” feature that went undetected for a short period of time. It is possible that bug would have had this side effect on any entries that were copied when this bug was present. Did you happen to create the entries with the duplicate vCards using the “copy” feature? If you did, the only way you can really correct this is to recreate the problematic entries or if you’re comfortable you can fix it using phpMyAdmin or similar tool. The `slug` column needs to be using. The copy feature was copying that slug rather than creating a new one.
