    @ Willa Barnhardt

Ok, I  understand. The entries can not be grouped by category, sorry.

    @ tanya

    Try this:

    [connections enable_category_multi_select=true enable_category_by_root_parent='false' category='x,y']

Make sure to type this in manually, please do not copy/paste.

category x and y would be the root parent categories you want to limit the list to.

    @ Melissa

I can see the page because it is behind a login but I don’t really need to see it.

Since Connections does yet support custom fields, neither can Form. And to add new fields to Connections requires a lot of work, not something that can be done easily.

Ok, I logged in admin I got it to work. I tried deactiving a few plugins that seemed like it would interfere, but that didn’t help. And, unfortunately the User Registration Aide didn’t save the settings for the custom logo / background image and such for the login page. Finally I deactivated the CalPress Pro plugin and it worked. I can image why or how a calendaring plugin interferes, but it does.

I can only think of two things.

    1. Check your server error logs and make sure no errors are being thrown on user login.

    2. CalPress Pro may hijack the login, and if that is the case, I don’t know if there would be a way to work around that.

    @ Fik

You’d have to roll your own cron import, but, yes, it would be possible. However, this isn’t something I could help with.

Filtering by character is not yet supported in the front end, just the admin. After more testing, it will be implemented in the front end. I can’t comment when this feature will be fully implemented, sorry.

Well, I think you could definitely come close. I think about the only area that could not be replicated is group by category with alphabetical listings following the category.

I think how easy is relative, I think it would be easy, but definitely would require some time and setup. So, if you’re not too familiar with WordPress or Connections it might feel difficult.

I hope that is of some help.
