Just the category field and only with the premium templates that have a drop down. It’s an undocumented beta feature.

About a year ago the db structure and data storage went thru a major overhaul. It sounds as it the data was never migrated in the first Connections update you did after this change. The only way I can really verify this is to have a temp admin account and access to you phpMyAmin. If that is the case, I can force the migration, but on the entries when that you’ve added the address, you have duplicates, but they show only when being edited. At least at that point it would be easy to hit remove than having to re-add it.

Have you read thru this FAQ and try some of the fixes?
During the mapping step, did you map the category column to the Category option?

Yes, if you’re using a caching plugin, that could give you troubles because if a page is cached without results, then that’s all you’ll see until the cache has been expired or flushed.
No, you only need to delete the old version after you have the new version installed and activated as a plugin. Have you downloaded a fresh copy making sure you’ve completely deleted the corrupted copy? There have been several downloads of it just today, so I know the file is still good. However, I uploaded a fresh copy just to be certain.

When this occurs it is nearly always do to their being a fatal JavaScript error in another plugin or the theme itself. You’ll have to share a link to your directory so I can take look.

The short answer, yes. For as long as Market is a supported product it will be continually updated. cMap and Market are the two oldest templates, about three years now, if you look at the bottom of each product page, there is a change log, I only started to keep track of changes a little over a year ago, you can see that they do get semi-frequent updates. Both bug fixes and compatibility updates.
I hope that helps.

Correct, I misspoke, I meant to say set as public.
Under the General tab on the Connections : Settings admin page, do you require login? Are either of the shortcode option overrides enabled?

You can define which fields are searched under the Search tab on the Connections : Settings admin page. Sorry, but categories are not part of the search criteria.

The name of your template tells me that your template was designed for the first generation templating system for Connections. This code was removed almost a year ago in prep for the fourth generation templating system was just put in place. Sorry, but there’s no way around it, you’re going to have to update the template to be compatible. You can refer to the template in the “card” template folder for proper construction for the third generation templating system. This require the template be named as template.php and a meta.php file,; both placed within a folder named pinetree. You can then put the pinetree folder in the connections_templates folder. I do have to caution that support for the third generation templating system will be removed at some point. Likely next year sometime. So…
If you know how to build plugins, you should refer to the names templates and recreate your custom template as a plugin. It’ll be quite some time, if ever, that this will change.
Hope that helps.
