Nuggets!
I think I just baked the same bug in to most of the templates. I’m certain I have a fix, could I get a temp admin account to apply it manually real quick to make doubly sure?

The next release, 0.7.6.5, has some minor tweaks. Hopefully that’ll fix up the issue.

You could use the CSV Import add-on plugin. However, it can not just import categories alone. To get around this, others have imported dummy entries that had categories assigned to them. Then after the import simply deleted the dummy entries. Hope that helps.

It is picking up a style from nmedia-user-file-uploader-Ultimate-Security. Go to the Connections : Category admin page and edit the “Green” category. Change the category slug to cn_green or any variation that you wish and then save. That should resolve the issue.

The issue is simply you’re running out of memory allocated to PHP. I installed WP System Health so you could see too. Even though you can set the PHP memory to anything, your host has you locked down to 64MB. Go to your Dashboard admin page, you will see the new widget, click the Test Suite tab and start it. You will see that it fails at 63MB. To test this further, find any 1900×1200 100 dpi image from the web and go to the Add New Media admin page and drag that image to the Drop Here section. You’ll see that WordPress will through an out of memory error. So, you see, this is not limited to Connections.
I took the same 1900 x 1200 image that I used for testing and reduced that by 50% and I was able to upload it just fine. So, you’re going to have to get your host to increase that hard limit, which is very tight for WordPress. This will cause you issues moving forward. As you’re already using roughly 80% of the available memory. That doesn’t give you much room for additional processing.
I hope this make sense.

I did get the addresses in to the database so you do not have to add them manually again. But like I said, this did result in duplicate data when you edit an entry. Just click the remove button on any duplicated data. This duplicate data will not show up in the front end.

So I understand correctly…
You have the drop down limit to select root parent categories.
The child link that you are clicking on the Category Widget, is that a child of one of the root parent categories or a child of another category?Steven Zahm

Yes, you can safely switch templates as often as you wish. You will not loose your contacts. Think of templates for Connections like theme’s for WordPress. You can switch theme to them and not loose you blog post and pages. I hope that helps!
