    Move the folder from the connections/templates folder to the wp-content/connections_templates folder.

    You may have to activate the any random template and then reactivate the template you just moved for Connections to find it.

    Connections does not integrate with the WordPress search. The settings only affect the templates that offer a search field.

    You need to edit the class.template-parts.php file.

    Look for this line:

    $out .= '<input type="text" id="cn-search-input" name="cn-s" value="' . esc_attr( $searchValue ) . '" placeholder="' . __('Search', 'connections') . '"/>';

    Lets do the upgrade before adjusting CSS.

    Install the latest cMap as a plugin and activate it.
    Go to the Connections : Templates admin page and activate the default template.
    Now you should be able to delete the old cMap and after you do, the new one will automagically show up.
    Lastly, activate the new cMap.

    If they are still CSS issues, come back and share a link to your directory and I’ll take a look.

    Look for the search method in the class.retrieve.php file.

    Sorry, to say there nothing in Form that can be set to accomplish this. I already have it in my feature request list to allow the limit of root parent categories just like the templates.

    The Plugin that is causing an error is JQuery Accordion Menu Widget, I would deactivate that.

    I would also change the permissions of the following folder to 767:
    ../wp-content/connection_image

    And put a blank index.html file in it.

    That should fix up the issues.
