French already is supplied with Connections and will be used automatically when when using the French translation of WordPress. Is there something not being displayed in French for you?

not sure I need to login now … none of the core templates display the logo. they only display the image that is why cMap showed then and the default templates do not. cMap defaults to showing the logo which is configurable.

Does that solve the problem?

Yes the home_id instructions are correct. I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to do. It seem the the test page is ID 681. So setting home_id=681 wouldn’t make any change to which page the entries link to.

Can you grant me a temp admin account before you do any restoring so I can take a closer look? It is very likely that a restore is unnecessary.

Unfortunately, yes. The next release of Connections, version 0.8, does have a tweak where a core template such as the Bio Entry Card can be moved from the /plugins/connections/templates/ folder to the /plugins/ folder and activated like any other plugin. and any changes made, will be update safe.
