I just now replicated the issue…
Apologies, seems there is a bug in Connections which results in the the email content being wiped before being sent. Unfortunately the bug didn’t show up in my testing. I’m planning on releasing another bugfix release tomorrow, version 0.8.13. It contains the fix for the blank emails.

Perhaps the solution is to tell Market to use the image rather than the logo. Here’s the shortcode you would use with Market:
[connections image='photo' str_image='No Photo Available' tray_image='none']Steven Zahm

Can you share the link to your test site? Also, can you attach a screenshot of the Connections : Settings admin page, the Search tab?

Settings up registration is probably your best bet. There are many registration plugins available for this. Many have features to keep pages private too until they successfully registered.
I have not used this plugin, just many of the author’s plugins. It does cost, but is very flexible and support is good.

Did you by chance disable the core CSS on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab? If you did, you need to reenable it. If you didn’t, I’ll need a link to the page for a closer look.

Worse is alright, easier to fix…
First, how are you changing the label names, there’s update safe ways of doing this. If you’re editing the plugin files. I suggest not doing that. Which labels did you change and what did you change them to?
Can you give me the FTP login details, I want to make some changes, so they will be update safe too. Something I can now do that you’re using the latest version of cMap.

Maybe…
“I have the submit form locked down so only people who I want to submit”
How did you lock down Form?If you have so you user has to log in to submit, then yes. You would go to the Connections : Roles admin page and give the role of the users that are submitting the “Add Entry” capability. Their submissions will not require moderation. If I remember correctly any way…

I just visited the page. Looks like the CSS did the trick. Try force refreshing your browser. My guess is that your browser is using a cached version of the custom CSS.

Sorry, I can not private reply back since the original post was made while you were not logged in. You wouldn’t be able to view my reply if I did…
Could you attach a screen mockup of what you want and better describe the feature/function you want. With that, I’ll be better able to give you a quote.
