You can use CSS to hide it. Here’s the CSS you need use. I recommend adding it to the theme’s custom CSS area.

.cn-last-updated {
    display: none;
}

The root of the issue is that the theme likely change the CSS box model from the browser default globally. If you update to Tile Plus 4.0.2, that should resolve the issue. You can download it from your purchase history.

The issue is definitely a conflict with the theme … its overriding the CSS for Connections which is what is supposed to happen for the clear search button, not the search button. I’ll need a direct link to your directory page in order to give you the CSS that would fix this.

The double spacing is also likely to be caused by the theme. Here’s link to a FAQ that fixes this issue nearly 100% of the time.

You can actually install on as many sites as you wish, however, updates and support is limited to a single site.

No, there is not a way to sort by category, only filter by category.

I honestly do not know if Connections 0.7.2.6 is compatible with WordPress 3.9.1. Here’s what I suggest…

Before updating WordPress, deactivate Connections.
After you update WordPress, update Connections to version 0.8.13. Do not activate Connections yet.
Go to this folder: ../wp-content/connections_templates/
Make a backup copy of the cmap folder.
Now, delete the cmap folder.
Activate Connections.
Download cMap 4.0 from your purchase history.
Install cMap 4.0 as you would any other plugin. The instructions are on this page.

Yes, it appears that is a bug. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! I have it fixed and it be released in the 0.8.14 bugfix release.

As for the image upload… there is no upload button, there should be a button to choose and image from your computer. If you do not see this button, make sure the metabox is not collapsed… click the arrow to the right of the metabox title.
