Great, I see that cMap is being used now. Question. Did you by chance disable the Google maps API option on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab? If you did, can you please re-enable it?

Ok, that definitely make sense. I’ll see if I can add it as an option in a future update.

On a separate note. It seems I’ve a bug that I noticed on your site. I didn’t init the enhanced drop down for the categories. I just released a bug fix which should fix it. let me know if it does not.

Let me know when you make your page live I would love to list as a live sample!

That is a third party library Connections no longers uses. It is only provided for backward compatibility and will be removed in later versions. Currently Connections uses core WP functions to handle uploads. Many of the same functions the media manager uses.

What I can do is check the fill size before upload by, maybe doing it the same way as core WP does.

Right now I’ve put scheduled this to be in the next release.

So to answer the question, yes, I’d whitelist the file.

Sure, you can probably somewhat easily modify your plugin to write to Connections tables. This file has functions you’d have to use. They abstract away most of the details. These few functions are probably the two you’d need:

• Add
• Update
• Both of the above use this function.

As for as separate directories … yes, that is possible by using categories to separate them.

Sorry to hear you’re having the same trouble. The good news for me is that it does seem to affect other plugins too. Thanks for confirming that for me!

Unfortunately I have not thought of a way to ensure the Connections roles remain.

Ok, I see the issue. The template being used is the Default Card template. You need to go to the Connections : Templates admin page click the Individual template type and activate the cMap template and then do the same to the Organization template type.

So far your console log is clear of anything to worry about so that’s good news!

Darn, I was still hoping that would be the solution…

My next best guess is that there is a very large image being used by one of the entries. I’ve run into this with a couple other users, but in the admin. After figuring out which, resizing it an reuploading solved the issue. I can do this for you since it’
ll only take mew a few minutes but I’ll need a temp admin account and FTP account. The login details can be sent to me via the contact link at the bottom of the page. Be sure to paste a link of this forum thread in the email too so I can relate the email and this support thread.
