First, the requirements mentioned in the doc for quote are for the actual CSV file. I suspect you are not manually creating a CSV file, rather I’m guessing you are using Excel or LibreOffice or similar app to create it. Correct? If that is the case, you do not need to worry about the quote because when the app saves the file to a CSV file, it’ll automatically do the quoting.

My answers are going to assume you are using a spreadsheet app to create the CSV file…

I suppose when you say downloading you mean importing, correct? When you import, each category will be imported as a parent. If you need a parent/child relationship between the categories. You will have to create that relationship after you do the import. Editing the category after you import to set its parent category will not affect its relationships to the entries in which it may have been assigned. This is handled exactly like the category relationship for WordPress posts. This functionality was modeled after WordPress so it would be very familiar to everyone of usage and functionality.

To change the default crop mode, use the filter I gave in my last reply or change this in the card.php:

You could probably use the recently add or recently modified widget from the Widget Pack. Hmmm, makes me think I should add a new widget that drops the ordering for recent added/modified but still retain all other options.

Alternatively you could use the Tile template placing it after your category highlights.

Different template will show different data depending on design. For example Tile shows very little detail versus the cMap template which shows all. That said, the Default Card template does not show the bio field. You would have to switch to the Bio Entry Card template.

You will have to update your CSV file to include the Entry ID column populated with the number from the Connections : Manage admin page.

Sorry, no, there is not that option. I just added it to my feature request list.

If you want to hack the plugin, you would need to edit line 214 in the connections-siteshot.php file found in this path:

../wp-content/plugins/connections-siteshot/

You would change it from this:

$html     = sprintF( '<div class="siteshot"><a href="%1$s">%2$s</a></div>', $url, $image );

to this:

$html     = sprintF( '<div class="siteshot"><a href="%1$s" target="_blank">%2$s</a></div>', $url, $image );

You mean in the admin when you add/edit an entry? This meta box only ever had a few text formatting options in the toolbar. See this screenshot:

If you had more options, then perhaps there was another plugin adding more formatting options. I know that there are some plugins that add more formatting options to the page/post editor that also add more formatting options to the bio and notes metabox in Connections. I believe one such plugin is TinyMCE Advanced.
