Sorry, no, Connections does not integrate with the Media Library. Giving users access to that is a security risk as the media library allows files other than images to be uploaded as well as see images they may not be permitted to have access to. There are now ways around these, but, when Connections was originally developed there were none.

If you need to get images into the Media Library in addition to Connections… you could write an extension which hooks into the cn_post_process_add-entry and cn_post_process_update-entry actions and side load the images into the media library but those images image would be in no way linked to the entry.

Your question is not related to the Contact extension because it does not have navigation features… it’s a contact form. It actually sounds like you might be asking about the Login extension but that was just release with a widget that supports these links, “Welcome (name); profile; logout;“. They did not exist in previous versions. The “Add my Directory Entry” link definitely is related to the Link extension. That option was only just released as an integration feature of the Login extension. Unless perhaps your are talking about the [results list actions] links … but that does not have “Welcome (name); profile; logout;“.

So, long reply made short… I am really confused on what exactly you are asking about. If you can share a link to the page with the issue, I will very likely understand and be able to help with the issue.

I do not see any code… that said… you can use the $entry->getPermalink(); function to get the URL to the single entry detail/profile page which you can use as the URL for the button.

Sorry, but I do not quit understand what you are asking. Could you provide more details?

What I can say… The site you shared the link to is being displayed using a custom template that they made. It appears they may have used the Slim Plus template as the base for their customizations.

Sounds like you need to add the shortcode to the page which embeds the directory. Please see step 4 of the QuickStart.

There are no image IDs… the images are uploaded with the name the image was uploaded with. They can be found in the ../wp-content/uploads/connections-images/ folder.
