Can you please confirm that you did clear the page cache and disable it by doing it again? The timestamp added to the page by WP-Super-Cache is the same as when I looked the first time and should not exist at all it the cache cleared successfully and it being disabled.

It is hard to tell what error might be. The simply stop rendering after the nav bar code, much before Connections is even rendered. It’s possible that the same issue affecting Wolfgang is also affecting you. Another possibility is the memory allocated to PHP is being exhausted.
I will be releasing version 8.6.1 very shortly which will fix Wolfgang’s error. let me know if the issue persists after the update. If it does, then you might have to increase the memory allocated to PHP a little.

That screenshot is very helpful, thanks! I located the bug causing this error and have fixed it. I will release a new update asap.

re; I thought you had instructed me to:
Oh, yeah, that is correct, but you needed to leave the
[connections]shortcode on the page too, not remove it … on the cMap page.re: I have restored the categories in settings, and the categories image grid is back and working, but… the entry cards and single entry page are almost blank. Only the logo and Organisation appear…
I see, unfortunately, no errors are being shown. I’ll need a temp admin and FTP login to investigate further.

The javascript for the page is not being loaded for some reason. Try clearing your page cache and then disable the page cache (temporary for testing). Does that fix the issue?

What is the exact shortcode you are using on the page to display the directory?
- Can you share a link to your directory page.
- Can you give specific example?
- If you are using page caching, clear your page cache to ensure the new version of the page is being displayed and not the old cached version.

I could not find any purchases made using the email address made to open this support ticket. However, I did find a purchase made back on 10/05/2015 by a person with the same name using a comcast email account. If this was you, you can log into your purchase history using the comcast email for your login username. If you need to reset your password, click the Lost Password link to reset your password.
After you login, you will have access to you updated zip files.
Hope that helps, let me know.
ps. You should also let me know the issue you are having and what version you are running of Connections and its addons as well as the version of WordPress. It’s possible updates may or may not be helpful. It really depends on the environment.

Did you do the upgrade on Friday or Monday (Eastern Standard Time)?
If you upgraded on Friday…
The cause was likely the update to Connections which I released on Friday for a few hours.
Part of the issue is the server is very likely running a very old and unsupported version of PHP (for years). I recommend to update your site to run a more recent version of PHP. WordPress recommends version 7.0 due to it being much faster and far more resource efficient. I recommend at least version 5.6 (which is actually going to be unsupported soon if I remember correctly).
I did rollback the update after only a few hours so you must have been one of the few hundred who updated when this issue came to light…
You should be able to delete the
../wp-content/plugins/connections/folder via FTP. The will let you back in you admin. Now you can reinstall Connections as you normally would. You data is completely safe and will not be deleted by deleting the plugin folder.I released a revise update on Monday which contains a very minor tweak which should correct the issue for the very old version of PHP. Reinstalling the plugin after you delete it should resolve the issue.
If you upgraded on Monday…
I’ll need an WP admin and FTP login so I can take a closer look. The details can be posted here as a private reply.
My do apologize for the trouble this has caused you!

The best I can tell that page does not have the
[connections]shortcode on it. It appears you used on the the shortcode to display the category image grid. Is that correct? If that is you should remove the category image grid shortcode and use the
[connections]shortcode and then enable the category image grid on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab. This functionality/operations has not changed from previous versions. If my guess is incorrect, I’ll need an WP admin and FTP login so I can take a closer look. The details can be posted here as a private reply.
Hope this helps, let me know.
