You had
image_width="auto" image_height="auto"in the shortcode. Theautois not a valid option. Removing these fix the display.Hope this helps!

Sorry, but it is possible for me to know because I do not know to what extent the changes are. If the changes are only cosmetic, then installing an unmodified version of Connections should cause no trouble. But, if there were changes to the way the data was saved then the results would not be good.
You could try creating a clone of you site and installing the unmodified version and see if there are any adverse effects. If there are none, then you know it is safe to update your live site.
Alternatively, for a very reasonable service fee I can evaluate the changes that were made and then advise you on the path forward. If it is as simple as upgrading the the current release there will be no further charges. If it will require additional work, I’ll let you know what needs done and give you a quote to how much it’ll cost to fix. If you are interested in this solution, let me know.

Sorry, no, I do not plan on adding payment gateways to Connections… I have something better planed for user being able to monetize their site.

What is the exact shortcode you are using on the page.? Make sure to switch to the “Text” tab on the WordPress page editor. What you see may not actually be what is there.
I suspect you have a bad shortcode, HTML mixed in it. That can break the WordPress shortcode parsing causing option you add to to be properly read by WordPress so it is unable to send Connections the correct values.

By default the logo is displayed on the card and the photo is displayed in the bio content tray. If you would like to change the defaults you can use the cMap Template Customizer.
Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Customize button for cMap.
The page will reload with the Customizer on the left and a preview on the right.
Click the back arrow in the upper left of the Customizer and click the Image panel. Configure as desired.
After you configure the image, click the back arrow again in the upper left and click the Bio Tray image panel and configure as desired.
Now, since the listing view and the entry profile detail view are configured separately you need to click an entry name in the preview, any entry name will do. The preview will reload. Now configure your image settings again.
Click the Save and Publish button to exit the Customizer.

Yes there is. Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Customize button for cMap.

Here you can adjust the various colors used in cMap.

The backend changes I am making (mentioned in my previous reply)… is to enable a full support for the WP REST API. This would all full JS interaction. I believe this will open up all sorts of possibilities.

No the database structure would not affect images. Does an error message display? If it does, a patch will be displayed where the image is expected to be found. Log on to your site with FTP and navigate to the folder in the error message. Does the image exist or not. If not, then something else removed it. If it is there then the issue could be the folder permissions were changed so Connections is not longer permitted to read the content.
