    @ Richard

There’s no links… so, I do not think the nofollow applies. As far as indexing, but then the search engines will not index the entries if the search is the only method to get to them if the page is flag for no crawling. I that is desired, then adding the page to the robots file should be sufficient.

RE: Is it possible to amend the shortcode so that results are only presented when access is from the advanced search page.

Sorry, no it is not possible. Do not add the advanced search results page to the site nav or directly link to it.

    Hope this helps!

Sorry, I do not know. It appears some other plugin is pulling in the Connections content. This is not Connections adding its content. It appears it is dynamically pulling in all address “parts” (address/state/zip) and merging it into it own address.

Not sure if this helps, but I hope it does!

    @ Arnold

When possible I try to use strings that exist in the “core” Connections plugin in the addons such as Form. This is why most of Form can be changed using the connections textdomain. I would always suggest first trying with the connections textdomain.

If you navigate to the WP Plugin Editor admin page and choose the Connections addon to edit, at the top, you’ll find Text Domain: followed by the textdomain that you should use in Say What for that addon. Same for any plugin actually :)

For the category search string, you need to use this as the original text in Say What:

You are searching within category(ies): %s

The %s is where the categories being searched will be inserted by WP.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks! I just added your site to the showcase :)

If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference.

Navigate to the Table of Contents Settings admin page and adjust the settings to reduce the number of required headings. My best guess based on the pages.

The user would have to register as a WP User on your site with the same email address used in the entry. After they register and login, they will be able to maintain that entry.

    Hope this helps!

    If I understand correctly…

Add home_id=x force_home=false to the advanced search shortcode.

Where x should be the page ID of the page where the search results should be displayed. This page should have [connections] shortcode on it. More on those options can be found on this doc page.

    Hope this helps!

RE: I am using the default entry card template on my site’s directory page. When users input the the Image it shows up in what should be the place of the logo and the logo doesn’t show up at all when you click on the entry.

    • Navigate to the Connections : Template admin page.
    • Click the Customize button for the Default Template.
    • The page will refresh displaying the Customizer on the left and a preview on the right.
    • Click the back arrow in the upper left of the Customizer.
    • Click the Image panel.
    • Choose the Logo Image Type.
    • IMPORTANT – Take not of the instructions displayed above the directory in the preview.
    • Click an Entry name, any name it does not matter.
    • The preview will refresh displaying the entry detail view.
    • Change the Image Type again.
    • Publish the changes and exit the Customizer.

This will change the image displayed in the template.

To change the text in, see the tutorial on how to change field labels in Connections. I’ve never done this for the image fields, but I can not think of any reason why it would not work.

RE: I would just like to change the field name of IMAGE to LOGO and remove the image field, if possible, altogether.

When adding an Entry, click the Screen Options tab in the top left of the window. You can disable the image field from there, in your user account. When you edit and entry, you’ll have to do it again since both pages are configured separately.

RE: Also Biographical Info doesn’t fit for a business, how do I change it to simply “Information”?

To change the text in, see the tutorial on how to change field labels in Connections.

Hope this helps! Let me know.
