    @ Roland

Looks like I replied to most of these questions in another thread you posted to… here’s the link to my reply

RE: it is possible to import and export a custom field.

Yes, it is, here’ the link to the docs which voer how to do this with a text field.

RE: what we have to include in the import and export a custom checkbox and a custom checkbox group too?

I suggest setting them up for the export first and then export the directory. You’ll see in the export how you need to supply the data for the import.

RE: Do you have the code snippet for us please

There is a code snippet for the text field, you should be able to use it for the other fields too. The important bit is how you structure the data in the CSV file so it imports.

I’m actually revising the code snippet later today with some minor improvements.

    Hope this helps!

RE: Inside connections is the the class.geo.php.

Most of what is found in that file is not in use or has been deprecated.

RE: We would like to use the function “Find the closest locations”
Are we have to buy a additional plugin?

There is a beta addon for Connections which I offer, on request, to those who purchased the Pro Pack.

I freely give it as a free addon in the bundled price. The reason it is not officially part of the bundle is because I still consider it a beta product. With the release of WP5, my goal for this year is to build it as a block which can be used and configured in the new editor.

You can see it in action on this third part site:

    https://sscit.org/directory/

I consider this beta software, though safe to run on live sites. It can be difficult to configure due to the complicate shortcode structure to configure the multiple category setup. If you are familiar with shortcodes it should not be too difficult. They styling is as is, though I can give you CSS to apply you own color (instead of blue).

    RE: we are using connections-tile-plus
our override is in the card.php from the plugin.
Is it possible to have the card.php in the child area?

Ok, I do understand that a template override file has been created and is in use, but I am not sure where you have put it or what you mean as a child. Could you give more specific details? Thanks!

    @ Charly DI PUMPO

Probably the quickest/easiest way to do this is by using the Loco Translate plugin.

Install the Loco Translate plugin and edit the translation for the Connections Link Extension.

    Hope this helps!

I’ve never seen anything like that before and have no idea why such a thing would happen.

If you can create a temp admin account using this plugin:

    I’ll take a look asap.

Sorry, but the only way to accomplish this would be to edit the PHP file of the template you are using (ideally created custom template override file)

If you have some basic PHP knowledge this should not be too difficult to accomplish, I could provide some basic direction.

Hope this helps, let me know.

    • Navigate to your purchase history page
    • Click the Licenses tab.
    • Click the View Updates link for the CSV Import addon.
    • Here you will see an upgrade option for the Pro Pack, click the Upgrade License link.
    • This will add the Pro Pack to the cart with the fee being minus the full price of the CSV Import addon.
    • Completing the purchase will upgrade the CSv Import purchase to a purchase of the Pro Pack. This will include the cMap template so you will not need to purchase it separately.

After you’ve done this, let me know, and I can refund the Enhanced Categories item.

Hope this helps! Let me know.

in reply to: Is there a way to change entry ID? #486412

    @ shezie

Sorry, no, the entry ID is assigned by the database automatically in the same way WP assigns ID/s to pages, post and categories. These can not be changed. You can use the Custom Entry Order extension to add a custom ID (of sorts) to order the entries in an order you can specify.

    Hope this helps!
