Ok, it seems the connection is fine but the response in unknown. To debug further I need to learn what the response it that is being received. To learn this I’ll need an FTP login so I can make an slight change to the response message will be displayed on the screen. after see the response, I’ll be able to track down the cause and fix it. The FTP login can be posted here as a private reply.

For this you will need the Link extension and , optionally, the Form extension.

Sorry, no, not really. The closest solution I have to this would be the List widget included in the Widget Pack.

You, as the admin, can pre add entries for your users. The key is that when you do, that you add an email to the entry that matches exact the WP user’s account email address. If they do not match, they will not be linked.

When a user creates their own entry, no email matching is required because they’ve entered their own data and will automatically be linked.

That would indicate either at the that specific time, my site was down momentarily (perhaps for maintenance) or your web host is blocking outbound requests to my site causing the license check to fail.

Now that is has been a little over a half day… are you still receiving the error?

ps. The Form extension uses, as much as possible the text already used in the core Connections plugin. If you need to change some text which is Form specific, you’ll need to use the connections_form text domain. There really is not way for you to easily know if a string is Form specific or not, so, I suggest trying the connections text domain first and if that does not work, use connections_form.

pss. The bio field label text domain definitely is connections.
