RE: This error appears only when using the form through the embedded page and does not appear when using the normal page.

Sounds like you might be trying to use Form in an unsupported way… What do you mean by the “embedded page” and “normal page”? Please share a link to both, thanks!

RE: I installed the “WP mail log” plugin

Which “WP mail log” exactly? Connections is only compatible with a few. I suggest reviewing the logs on the Connections : Tools admin page.

    Things to double check:

    • Ensure the “Submission Notice” option is enabled.
    • Ensure the “Submission Notice To” email address is correct.
    • Check the recipient email address inbox junk/spam folder.
    • Try an alternative email address, especially if you are using the Gmail alias inbox features.

Hope this helps, let me know what you learn.

No, I understand exactly what you are asking. Data is part of a category name. category names are not searched by the keyword search. The fields which are search can be found on the Connections : Settings admin page under the search tab. If you wish to search for categories or part of category name, click the category drop down and start typing data, it will return Communications / Data as a matching category which the list can be filtered by.

I do have two snippets which do alter search results. One for to add to the results when matches are found in the category description. The second for adding entries to the results based on exact category name match (not partial matching). Neither would do xactly as you want but the second is close and the first could be used to get exact what you want by adding the category name to the category description. Would that work? If it does, here’s a link to the instruction I gave to another user.

    Hope that helps!

Well, the default is already 32px, not 48. So, I’m guessing you made this change. My suggestion would be to undo the change you made to make them 48px. Perhaps you made this change in your custom card.php file???

You would have let me know the email address you used to to make the original purchase so I could look it up. I did a few searches but came up empty, only finding a comment on a post, another support topic in the forum for another issue where I mentioned the old version and you asking how to update :)

You would download the latest version from your purchase history, deactivate and delete the existing version and then install it just as you normally would. You data is safe, however you would have to configure the template to get that gradient back again. I think that would be the only thing you would have to worry about.

Ok, I see you are using a very old version of the cMap template… my best guess is because you have disabled pretty permalinks on your site. Navigate to the WordPress Permalinks page and choose the post name option and save. That should correct the issue.

Hope this helps, let me know.

Follow the steps very closely for configuration instructions for the Link extension (see that you have this activated on your site).

After you do that, since you have the Form extension, make sure you have disabled “Submit New Entry” the list action.

For the user to edit their own entry there are two requirements.

    • The directory entry must have an email address that matches exactly the email address of the user in the WorDpress user Profile admin page.
    • That user must log in to the site to edit the entry.

Hope this helps, let me know.

Data is not part of the entry content… it is part of a name of the category Communications / Data

To search by category, click “Select Category” and type Data. After you do,you will see that Communications / Data is auto suggested. And, if you click that auto suggestion the search is applied and AT&T is return as one of the results:

    http://ncbeonline.com/search-ncbe-members/?cn-s=&cn-cat=194

So everything does appear to be functioning correctly.

    Hope this helps!

RE: when I type in a specific keyword which I know is within the database, I get 0 results

I did do a few tests and search does appear to work…

    Search for 664899 Results:

    https://rebuildingnapacounty.com/find-companies/?cn-s=664899&cn-cat=

    Search for COMMUNICATIONS Results:

    https://rebuildingnapacounty.com/find-companies/?cn-s=COMMUNICATIONS&cn-cat=

    Search for Yant Results:

    https://rebuildingnapacounty.com/find-companies/?cn-s=Yant&cn-cat=

What specific keyword and in which field does that keyword exist?
