Ok, the image being uploaded was probably too large causing the memory allocated to PHP to be exhausted. Connections does try to prevent this so it is rare that this happens.

Here’s the link to the tutorial which covers renaming labels and other text.

Hope that helps. Let me know.

Apologies for the trouble! I’ve resent the sales confirmation email which will have a corrected link. Let me know if you do not receive this email.

All fields are run through one or another of core WP sanitize functions before being inserted into the db. I would imagine Word cruft is stripped.

You can use the Link extension to link the WP User to a Connections Entry. If the user does not have a directory entry, they will be able to add and maintain it with or without admin moderation.

    Hope that helps!

Do you know which version you upgraded from? If you do not know off hand, you could check a recent backup. That would help me isolate the changes made between the two to I could figure what exactly which change may have caused this for you.

There was only a single minor change back in January and that was to pass the date thru the WP translation so the data could be translated into different language. This does not change the date itself, only the month name and only if it needs to. Other than that there have been no other changes to this — I actually hate having to tweak the code surrounding dates because it always seems to break something for someone.

I am aware of the notices and will issue an update to cMap (eta unknown) which will correct this. The Fieldset Config is new and I wish to complete the rest of the options before moving on to correcting notices in all the templates. Since these are just notices, although annoying to look at in development, are benign and will not cause any real issues. It is just PHP saying hey you you might want to look at this, this might be causing an issue.

    Hope this helps!

It’s hard to tell which widget I am looking at in the screenshot but it looks like it might be the Upcoming Birthdays widget. Is that correct?

Which version of Connections did you upgrade from?

In the screenshot, are those taken at the same time? Meaning, are they from the same version of Connections and not a before/after screenshot? If the screenshot is from the current version of Connections then that is puzzling because both the admin and the widget use the exact same code to query the upcoming birthdays and have for quite some time.

Were you able to identify what in that new entry causes the issue?

Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Display tab.
Scroll down to the Single Entry section.
If the Template option has a check, please remove the check and save the settings.

Hope this helps, let me know.

ps. If you are planning to use the [connections] shortcode on the page twice, which you can do, it will require a somewhat more complex setup otherwise you will see the single entry once for each instance you use the shortcode on the page.
