You can kinda sorted ingor the
+, The browser will always replace a space character with a+. So, that is not the issue, it is a symptom. How are you adding “High Voltage Asia”? In the admin? Or, importing it with the CSV Import addon? Copy/pasting the name from sone into the admin? Copy/pasted from somewhere and then imported.
Somehow, for some reason the space between “High” and “Voltage” is not being replaced with a dash like it should be.
If I manually add the dash, replacing the
+in the permalink, the entry loads like it should:If id do the same for the image, it too loads fine:
This indicates that the entry and its data is fine, but something is squirrely with its slug. And right now, I can only think it must have to do with how it was added/entered.

KeymasterHere’s the link to the previous version:
You can delete the newest version and install the previous version (in this case). All setting and entries are safe and will not be deleted when deleting the plugin.
Hope this helps!
ps. The next version of WP due out before end of the month will also require PHP 5.6 so will not let you and will actually error out if it were to be installed manually.
pss. So far the plan is the WP will require PHP 7.1 before the end of the year. I plan on moving the minimum required version for Connections in tandem with WP.

Can you please open a support ticket? Please include a temp admin account login and a login to the web host control panel so I can use the myPHPadmin database tool.
I’m going to mark this as resolved. When I receive the support ticket with the required login details, I’ll take a look asap.

You have a few options…
Since you have the Circled template, you can enable the searchable category filter.
OR
You could use the category shortcode option.
OR
You could use the Enhanced Categories addon. This would give you the ability to list the categories as list or a grid of category images above the the directory.
Hope this helps!

KeymasterOk, I made the minor edit. Let me know how it goes!

The near_addr shortcode option has not been implemented. You would need to use the latitude and longitude options instead.
A radius shortcode option already exists. As well as a radius unit shortcode option
There is a beta addon for Connections which I offer, on request, to those who purchased the Pro Pack.
I freely give it as a free addon in the bundled price. The reason it is not officially part of the bundle is because I still consider it a beta product. With the release of WP5, my goal for this year is to build it as a block which can be used and configured in the new editor.
You can see it in action on this third part site:
I consider this beta software, though safe to run on live sites. It can be difficult to configure due to the complicate shortcode structure to configure the multiple category setup. If you are familiar with shortcodes it should not be too difficult. They styling is as is, though I can give you CSS to apply you own color (instead of blue).
Hope this helps!

If you could share a link to your directory and that entry specifically that would be of great help. As of right now, I can only guess… Try uploading a smaller image file. When I say smaller, I do not mean file size. Make the actual height and width smaller. Multi mega pixel images can cause the server to run out of resources while trying to process it. It could work in the admin simply because less images are being shown which mean less processing and more resources are available to process the image for the admin.
Hope this helps, let me know.

KeymasterThis is WordPress telling you that the connection/response between your website and Connections took longer than 5 seconds. This resolves itself and is nothing to be concerned about as it will not affect your usage of any items or their functions and features.
Hope this helps!

After reviewing your site I think this is because you’re actually using the Profile template to display the single entry and not the Circled template.
I suspect you many have enabled the Single Entry Template option… an advanced option which allows you to mix templates based on entry type. To disable this option:
- Navigate Connections : Settings admin page.
- Click the Display tab.
- Scroll down to the Single Entry section.
- Disable the template option.
- Save the changes.
If this does not resolve the issue, then perhaps the cause could be if you copy pasted the shortcode from the doc page into your page. Doing this can break the ability of WordPress to properly read a shortcode.
Here’s a link to documentation I just recently added which goes into more details about the do and don’t when working with any shortcode, not just Connections:
Hope this helps! Let me know.

Ok, you’ll know what it is doing by the status updates during imports. It say how entries added or updated.
