Forgot to mention. This minor code change will be in the next update so you will not have to worry about this issue reoccurring.

Known, yes. But, only in the last 5 minutes or so. If the issue is the same, then I do have a fix. Please reply back as a private reply with a temp WP admin login. I’ll login and apply the minor hotfix.

Ok, the issue should be resolved now. Looks like I needed to add just one more small backward compatibility shim to the code.

    Apologies for the trouble.

I still need an FTP login…

After a quick look in the admin, the Connections : Manage admin page. For every entry in Georgia which is not displaying the website, it does when you both expand the entry and edit the entry. These two locations utilize both the core supported means in order to display links.

At this point, I suspect the code in you custom template. Something I can look at when I get the FTP login.

I would actually recommend against manually correcting. The changes made are supposed to be transparent/backward compatible.

At first glance it appears you might have customized the template / changed it code? Have you? If that is the case, perhaps the altered code is not compatible.

Please reply back as a private reply with a temp WP admin login and a FTP login so I can take a closer look.

Connections has been undergoing a massive rewrite for the past 6 months. These updates have been released incrementally as the work is completed in a section before moving on to the next. That way if any regressions did slip thru testing the regression could be found and fix very quickly. Thankfully, such occurrences have been very rare especially considering the amount of code being changed.

    Gotta modernize ;)

The last couple updates have been focussed on the links. Still an update or two before they are completely reworked.

I have not seen this behavior and it is puzzling. So, the link does not show, but when you edit the entry it does? And you only have to save it with no changes in order for it to be displayed? Is that correct?

    @ Shanna

I use to have it on the shortcode doc page a few years ago but it always lead to the support questions on why it was not paginating (which is not what it does) even with notices on the page saying such. Since I removed it, I think this is the first time I’ve been asked about it.

Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Fieldset Configuration tab. Scroll down to the Name Fieldset options. Make sure the Department field is unchecked for both the Individual and Organization entry types.

Hope that helps, let me know!

Can you please try deactivating and reactivating the Enhanced Categories extension? Then after that, navigate to the WordPress Permalinks admin settings page. Make no changes, just visiting the page is enough for WordPress to flush the permalink page cache.

Hope that helps, let me know.

You can use the limit option. For example add limit=10 to the existing shortcode to limit that instance to only 10 entries. Please be aware that this is not pagination, it only limits the list to a specific number of entries. If you are looking for pagination support, then you’ll need one of the premium templates.

    Hope this helps.
