Actually, there is not a problem. I didn’t notice it in the screen shot, and I should have. You’re filtering your list by “Unlisted”. Change that to “Show All” and click the filter button.

KeymasterHuh, how about that. I wonder how long it has been that way.
The file you need to open and change is here:
../wp-content/connections_templates/slimLet me know if you make the edit alright.

All add-ons, this spring/summer will be receiving updates that will not only add update notifications, but in-admin upgrades as well. The in-admin upgrades, however, will be limited to a single site where the license key has been activated.
Later, the template system will be re-factored so they too are plugins and will also have upgrade notifications and in-admin upgrades.
I hope that is good news!
About half of the templates and add-on plugins do have their change log posted. They can be found at the very bottom of their respective product pages. I’ll go thru the remaining and add the change logs right now.
Adding the version number to the purchase history is a good idea, I’ll add that on my website maintenance to do list.
Thanks for the suggestions! They are always very, very welcomed.

Yes, sorry, this is a known issue.

I’ve seen other users put Connections within each tab of another plugins/themes tab shortcode. Maybe that is a working solution for you too?
Currently there is not a way to include comments and ratings, sorry.

I won’t be adding additional fields to Connections which would be needed for additional content trays for cMap.
Now, that politicians non-answer I give you in regards to the second home page question … I was referring to a potential add-on, that same add-on would be able to do this too.

As of the newly released version 0.7.4, yes, you can. Here’s how. Of course, you would need the Tile Plus or Tile template. On the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab, check the option for Single Entry. Under the Advanced tab check the Name link option. Now go to the Connections : Templates admin page activate the Tile template you purchased under the “All” section. And lastly under the “Individual” and “Organization” sections activate Bio Entry Card template.
I believe that’ll get you what your looking to do.

Two thoughts, maybe you could use the Redirection plugin to redirect the specific links you want on a second home page.
But…
Is a second home page necessary? Your main listings page doesn’t necessarily need to be the directory home page. The page that you have the before and after content with multiple Connections shortcodes is the main page that you link to in you menu but the Connections home page could be another, maybe a sub-page, where all the links resolve to and only have the Connections shortcode. The net effect would be two “home pages”. Would that work?

The other user experienced this issue because they seemingly upgraded from a much older version of Connections. I’m wondering if that is the same issue here?
Any way, I can fix this for you but I will need a temp admin account. The details can be posted here as a private reply.

You can think of templates for Connections like themes for WordPress, they only change the way your content is displayed. So, no, changing templates do not override, overwrite or delete anything you’ve already entered into Connections. I hope that makes sense.
Are the fields interchangeable? Yes. Some templates may or may not show some fields by default though. A prime example is the Excerpt template, this template really only shows the photo image and the bio whereas cMap shows every field except some are shown in the “content trays”
