Separate issue. Not have a link to look at, my best guess is that Google can not properly geocode the address and is sending back its best guess. What you’ll have to do is edit the entries in question. Under the address section on the edit screen, hit the geocode button, you can then drop and drag the pin to the location you need it to be at.

KeymasterFirst back to the map issue … On the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab, please make sure the Google Maps API is checked and the JavaScript option is not checked.
Looking at your screen capture, you say you only get this error when you try to upload an image, correct? I’m thinking that is a sever config issue. You might have to contact your host. The only thing I can think of is that the tmp folder on the server is not writable to the webserver user group.

KeymasterThe theme seems to missing the wp_footer() template tag. That’s going to break a lot of plugins. Also, the layout, is broken, take a look at this FAQ on how to fix, especially the section on the code and pre tags.

KeymasterThere is not a built-in way to set a default category for display … however, switch to the category that you want to be the default, copy the link address and create a new menu item using that address. Hope that makes sense.

KeymasterOn the images folder, try 767.
The maps issue … The scripts for the maps are not being loaded for some reason. Can you try activating any random template and re-active the cMap template. Also, Can you make sure the theme has the wp_footer() template tag in the footer.php file?

KeymasterTile Plus has very specific image size requirements:
Medium Image size MUST be set to:
- Width: 80px
- Height: 120px [or smaller]
- NOTE: If images have already been uploaded in a different size they will need to be uploaded again after the image settings are applied to be compliant with this template.
After you make that change, it show like it should.

No, that should happen very quickly. This tells me another plugin is probably doing something it shouldn’t, like possibly, not restricting its JavaScript to its own pages. The only way I can help debug this is if you can grant me a temp admin account so I can take look. You can post the details here, but make sure to check the private reply before posting.

Yep, filters work. Another option is to use URL/s.
Assuming you have permalinks turned on, you can also do this:
my-site.com/directory-home-page/region/MN
On the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab you can change “region” to “state” so it is more clear in the URL what you’re linking to.
As for featured categories, sorry, no, but … what others have done is create a “Featured” category and then put the Connections shortcode on the page twice. The first being limited to show only the “Featured” category.
I hope that helps!

Good to hear! The next version will have this on the settings pages so one doesn’t have to muck around with shortcode options.

Well, this does complicate things little. What you’ll have to do is delete the current version of Connections you have installed and install the exact same version you were running on the original server and then upgrade to the latest version. That’s the only way to get things in sync.
